FY20 Evidence-Based Funding calculations are now complete and available on the ISBE website. The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) anticipates the first of 22 payments will be released on August 9.
Every year ISBE staff strives to build-upon the tools provided to districts to navigate what is a very complex formula. For FY20, the full calculation file opens to a District Results Summary page that displays the most critical elements of the EBF calculation. Should you wish to only view those elements for a single district you can select a District ID (RCDT) from the drop down list found in the yellow box. As in prior years, the full calculation is available for all to view by navigating the tabs found at the bottom of the Excel file.
As a reminder, ISBE produces a variety of resources for districts to better understand EBF, including an EBF Distribution Calculation Guide.
Please note FY20 Student Population Allocation Reports will be available in the coming weeks for utilization in the preparation of the FY20 Spending Plans. A notice will come from ISBE in the Weekly Message from the Superintendent.
