This certification (offered in partnership with the Association for Facilities Engineering) is one of the fastest growing and most prestigious of its kind. Your certification will demonstrate that you bring skills and knowledge beyond the technical side of your profession — from the boiler room to the boardroom.
CPMM Certification is for those who are currently a Facilities Director and would like to build on their specific competencies within the field of maintenance management.

Time Commitment: Three-day training course and an online exam. Dates: March 17-19, 2026
Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Registration & Refreshments: 7:30am - 8:00am
Group Review: 8:00am - 4:00pm
The cost of the training is $890.
Key Details about the Online Exam:
• You will receive a link to the exam platform following the training course, and you can access the exam from any computer or device with
internet access.
• The exam will be timed, and you will need to complete it within the given timeframe.
• The exam will be proctored remotely through secure software to ensure exam integrity.
• You will receive your results immediately after completing the exam, allowing you to quickly know whether you've passed the certification.
• If needed, you can retake the exam after a specified waiting period.
• The exam must be completed within 48 hours of receiving the exam link. If you are unable to take the exam within this timeframe, please
email us to request an extension or to reschedule the exam.
Deadline for Applications: This program requires an approved application. You must submit your application HERE by Friday, February 6, 2026.
Scholarships Are Available! Illinois ASBO is proud to provide scholarships for individuals and school districts with financial need. We want to empower individuals and encourage growth.
The scholarship deadline is January 23, 2026.
Considerations for Scholarship Applicants:

2. Illinois Resident
3. Financial Need
4. DEI - Persons who work for underserved communities (i.e. communities of color, Native American communities, LGBTQ communities, persons with disabilities, rural communities)
5. Recipient must have district's/employer's approval to attend the 3-day CPMM conference if selected.
