Greetings and Happy New Year, I have a question on a bill that I have not been following too closely. With the approval of the Social Security Fairness Act in the Senate and the presumptive signature of the President, does this mean that an Illinois teacher can work as a both teacher and also work a part time night and or weekend job that pays into social security with the expectation upon retirement that they will receive a TRS pension payment and also an applicable Social Security payment for the non-teacher wages that were paid into the Social Security System.
