Delegate Advisory Assembly

A typical meeting of the Delegate Advisory Assembly includes updates from the Illinois ASBO President and Executive Director/CEO, legislative updates from Illinois ASBO and liaisons from partnering organizations, discussion of ongoing DAA initiatives and the opportunity for members to bring forward issues for discussion. Guest speakers such as State Representatives are often invited to address the DAA.

Who Attends DAA Meetings?

DAA leadership, Regional and PDC delegates, and liaisons from partnering organizations are represented on the DAA. Any Illinois ASBO member is welcome to come and join these important conversations!

The Value of Illinois ASBO Networking

The biggest challenge as a school business official is juggling all the different hats we have to wear – transportation, food service, payroll, grants, accounts payable. You have to know a little bit of everything.

The networking within Illinois ASBO has provided me the opportunity to discuss some of these issues with those at the same point in my career or others that have already arrived where I am looking to go. I can ask others who are already there how to prepare for the next step.
