On Tuesday, April 29 in Schaumburg, gather with educational leaders who take an active role in the collective bargaining process and delve deeper with this Administrator Academy. Participants will study current collective bargaining issues, strategies and approaches. Attendees will conclude their learning experience by developing a specific plan to apply this new learning to their local bargaining situation.

This workshop on Tuesday, April 29 in Schaumburg provides information to school administrators on standards for the conduct, ethics and rights of school personnel. This course discusses the various standards an administrator needs to be aware of in the everyday course of doing their job; including laws, regulations and mandates for the management of school personnel.

Leading Yourself, Leading Others and Leading Your Boss — AAC #1625

This full-day Administrator Academy on Wednesday, June 11 in Champaign is designed to develop and provide insight into administrators’ behavioral leadership skills through analysis and assessment of what relational skills are needed to lead yourself, others and your boss. You will leave with a helpful approach that can be applied to your everyday work situations.

Debt Issuance from A to Z — AAC #821

This full-day workshop on Tuesday, April 29 in Schaumburg will cover basics of the bonds available and legal steps to authorize bonds will be covered as well as a review of some higher-level topics. Attendees will learn how some local policies and operating choices actually impact the cost of borrowing, how recent State legislation has widened the borrowing options available and what Federal legislative actions may be trickling down to local borrowers and what that may mean for future bond issues.
