This session will provide a brief update regarding the outlook for the economy, specifically focusing on key items that could impact bond proceeds investment strategies. In addition, we’ll discuss how arbitrage rebate and yield restriction rules apply to a bond issue, how to apply strategies and/or exceptions to maximize retained earnings in a positive arbitrage environment and how to identify an accrued liability on a bond issue and prepare for a payment to the IRS.
