Illinois ASBO is partnering with the Illinois Principals Association (IPA) to deliver online professional development! Stay relevant and keep up your license through a selection of convenient online academies, specifically identified as relevant to school business professionals.
Online academies offer the opportunity to get administrator academy credit without having to leave the district. Lasting 3 hours, plus additional pre- and post-academy work, IPA’s online academies gives busy administrators a great way to get their annual administrator academy credit. The academies will include pre-and post homework, so watch your registration for additional details.
In order to successfully lead our schools we first need to lead ourselves. This academy will provide insight and tips on effectively leading oneself to lead others. Participants will examine the nine strategies for self-leadership; identify self-leadership strategies with high leverage for school leaders; critique areas of weakness in self-leadership for school leaders; and analyze impacts of effective personal leadership skills on school settings.
IPA will deliver this ONLINE training through Zoom. To participate in the virtual workshop, you must have Internet access, a web camera, and a microphone.
You will receive the Zoom training link, handouts and detailed instructions in the registration confirmation from netforum@ilprincipals.org. If you don’t see the confirmation in your inbox after registering, please email workshops@ilprincipals.org.
Keep checking Illinois ASBO’s event listings for more relevant online offerings throughout the year. Registration will take place through the IPA website.
